1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using CoolVoice, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use CoolVoice for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
2. The CoolVoice service
CoolVoice lets you record audio, apply voice effects, preview processed audio, manage local recordings, and export audio through Apple’s share sheet. Features, effects, recording limits, and supported formats may change as the app evolves.
3. Your recordings and content
You retain your rights in recordings you create. You are responsible for having all permissions required to record, transform, store, and share voices or other audio.
CoolVoice processes recordings to provide the features you request. The current app stores recordings in local app storage and does not require you to grant CoolVoice ownership of your content.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CoolVoice to:
- violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- impersonate, deceive, harass, threaten, defraud, or harm another person;
- create or distribute unlawful, abusive, or malicious content;
- interfere with the app or attempt unauthorized access; or
- misrepresent transformed audio where disclosure is legally required.
5. Microphone access and local storage
Recording requires microphone permission, which you can change in iOS Settings. Recordings are stored in CoolVoice’s app container. Removing the app, deleting a recording, device failure, or an unsuccessful backup may cause permanent loss. You are responsible for exporting or backing up important recordings.
6. Advertising
The free version may display banner and interstitial advertisements supplied by third-party advertising services. Ad availability, content, and close timing are controlled by the advertising provider. Premium removes ads while the relevant entitlement remains valid.
7. Premium purchases
CoolVoice Premium is an in-app purchase processed by Apple. Pricing, taxes, billing, payment authorization, and refunds are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and policies. Use Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that completed the purchase.
Premium currently removes advertising and increases the maximum recording length. Premium features may be improved or adjusted, but an already-purchased entitlement will not intentionally be removed without a lawful reason.
8. Availability and changes to the app
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for performance, security, compatibility, or legal reasons. CoolVoice may not work on every device, operating-system version, audio route, or network. Uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
9. CoolVoice ownership
CoolVoice, including its interface, branding, app icon, software, and original materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app according to these Terms and Apple’s usage rules.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoolVoice is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or preservation of recordings. Voice effects are creative tools and are not intended for identity verification, medical use, emergency communication, or other safety-critical purposes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoolVoice and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of recordings, data, revenue, opportunity, or reputation arising from use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated for app changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. The effective date will change when revisions are published. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
13. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence. Nothing here limits a right to bring a claim in a forum that applicable law requires to remain available.
